  • What is bioDensity?
    bioDensity is a safe and controlled approach offering the benefits of high impact activity without the risk of heavy lifting or jumping. Once-weekly, bioDensity sessions are shown to improve bone density to combat osteoporosis and osteopenia, as well as improve lipids and blood sugar (A1C) measurements in type 2 diabetics. Regular use of the bioDensity improves the structures of the body, the building blocks of movement and function for increased quality of life.
  • Why does it work?
    ​​The human body has natural responses to the demands of the surrounding environment. For example, when muscles experience a new and heavier workload, they are prompted to become larger, more dense and stronger. bioDensity is designed to enable this natural adaptive response to improve your bone density and overall health. The scientific technology associated with osteogenic loading has been available in the academic research for many years. Only recently has this science and technology become available for public access.
  • Is using bioDensity safe?
    Yes. The bioDensity device was designed to be a safe, effective and efficient way to increase bone density, or reduce blood sugar (A1C) measurements in type 2 diabetics. During a bioDensity session each participant is positioned in the strongest biomechanical position to allow users to produce their maximal force. This ensures that the body can safely withstand the load that is being provided in the activity. The machine is self-loaded so each person dictates the force that is applied. With over 800,000 sessions completed worldwide, bioDensity is proven safe and effective.
  • How long does it take to complete a bioDensity session?
    Your initial bioDensity session will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The session can be completed in street clothes (flat soled shoes with less than one inch heel). Subsequent sessions are 15 minutes once a week.
  • Doesn't exercise need to be performed for an hour, multiple times per week to be effective?
    Unlike conventional strength training, bioDensity is focused on maximal loading of bones. It is only performed in the position where you are strongest because it's the amount of the load, not the length of time, that triggers the natural bone building process. All bioDensity studies were performed in this way; just 5 seconds per exercise, once per week.
  • What will I feel after performing a bioDensity session?
    When completing the four movements in bioDensity you will produce maximal force for 5 seconds. The force would be similar in nature to pushing or lifting an object of significant weight and size in four different directions: (1) forward using your hands; (2) forward using your feet; (3) upward using your knees and (4) upward using your arms and legs together. After completing a bioDensity session you may feel like you've completed physical work. You will feel warm from increased blood circulation and from work completed by the muscles. Within 24 hours you may feel muscular fatigue but not likely to feel soreness. Users often comment on their improved mood and confidence as a result of their documented success. Because the movements only require five (5) seconds of maximal work your body will not produce the by-products which cause muscle soreness.
  • What does the bioDensity performance report tell me?
    The bioDensity report is a visual representation of your force production improvement reached during each bioDensity session. In each of the 4 graphs you will see your baseline reading, along with the last 14 sessions you recorded. The report also documents your all-time increase in force production as a percentage.
